THE EYES FORWARD FOUNDATION
The three core principles of the Eyes Forward Foundation is to provide general education, encourage volunteerism, and fundraise for sponsorship recipients of a The Eyes Forward Foundation Fund to help offset the cost of prosthetic limbs.
educate
Education is the most powerful ally you will have on the road to recovery from an amputation. You will need to master master medical and insurance terminology while also learning to adapt to your new normality of a loss of a limb. Here at the Eyes Forward Foundation we hope to inspire and provide hope that you are not along on your journey. Join the email subscription newsletter and receive helpful information along with inspiration that will allow you to follow in the footprints of someone who knows what you are going through.
Volunteer
Giving back is a game changer, volunteering has surprising benefits on the road to recovery. The benefits of volunteering go beyond just the amputee but can be shared by co-workers, friends, and family of someone who was involved in a horrific accident or a life changing illness. Be sure to connect with The Eyes Forward Volunteer Network, and be the person you desire to be as volunteering is good for mind, body, and soul.
fundraising
At the heart of all non-for-profits is the need to raise money for thier designated cause they have chosen to represent. The Eyes Forward foundation is no different than many non-for-profits out there, the difference is the ethics we hold deep in our heart to raise as much money for those in need to help them over come the cost of receiving, out growing, or advancement in technology of a new prosthetic limb to meet the needs of the amputee. Please be sure to subscript to learn about fundraising opportunities you can participate in to help others take the next step forward.
SPOnsorship
The Eyes Forward Foundation helps to provide financial assistance to amputees in need of a prosthetic.
The price of a new prosthetic leg can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000. But even the most expensive prosthetic limbs are built to withstand only three to five years of wear and tear, meaning they will need to be replaced over the course of a lifetime.

If you are in need of financial assistance and would like to be considered for an Eyes Forward Healthcare Grant, please submit an application for consideration.
